Provide standardized tactical electric power and environmental control capabilities to the Department of Defense (DoD) in support of National Security.

Description

Project Manager (PM) Mobile Electric Power (MEP) provides modernized, technologically advanced, tactical, diesel fueled, lightweight, portable, reliable, rugged, power generating systems in a variety of sizes from 2 kilowatts (kW) to 840 kW. These Tactical Electric Power (TEP) systems are categorized as Small Power Sources, Medium Power Sources, and Large Power Sources. PM MEP also produces Power Distribution Illumination Systems Electrical (PDISE) equipment which is a family of man portable, reliable, modular, quick to assemble standardized electrical distribution components for the distribution of electrical power between power generation and power using equipment. The Improved Environmental Control Units (IECU) produced by PM MEP have modern control/logic systems, improved reliability, reduced in-rush current, meet statutory ozone depleting chemical requirements, and reduce power consumption over older standardized units. IECUs range in size from 9k British Thermal Units per Hour (BTUH) to 60k BTUH. PM MEP equipment is used extensively worldwide by all Military Services throughout the Department of Defense.
