The current era of restrained budgets and updated Department of the Army Guidance (Army Directive 2011-20 'Department of the Army Conferences') specifies a new approval process for this event. We are working through these requirements, processes and approvals now. As of today, the location has not been confirmed and the dates are subject to change, however for planning purposes we are proposing locations in Orlando, FL with conference dates of 8, 9, 10 May. Our planning intent is to maintain a similar format, provide participant travel and per-diem funding, and to continue our Power Technician of the Year Award. Our goal is to communicate the final decision regarding conference scheduling on Friday, 24 February, via this web-site. We will publish update #5 no later than 24 February.
