Mission

Product Director Northeast Regional Response Center (PD NRRC) provides worldwide, highly mobile secure communications to achieve interoperability across the DoD/Civilian infrastructure for units deploying to an area of operations or incident site that does not support communications infrastructure. PD NRRC serves both deployed Warfighters and disaster relief responders who are required to reach back from remote or unimproved locations to their parent organizations or other centers to facilitate the execution of their missions.

Capabilities

  • Worldwide commercial-to-DoD secure satellite communications and interfaces for Joint CONUS/OCONUS DoD units
  • Secure network management and technical assistance for deployed communications systems
  • System of Systems engineering acquisition, integration, distribution and logistic support to CONUS/OCONUS units utilizing Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) or Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) communications systems
  • System accreditation support
  • Coordination of life cycle support activities for deployed GOTS/COTS products
  • Emergency response and support for homeland defense and catastrophic missions
  • Army, Joint and Homeland Defense exercise support
